Oops, sorry it's so tiny. If you click on my pictures you can see a bigger view though.

Here is what I started this past Sunday, April 27. I have finished the back which isn't shown in the picture, but plan to start the butterfly tonight.

Here is what my daughter, Liz, stitched. She had her DH pay for the mat she chose and her daddy and I paid for the framing for her birthday. I think it turned out GREAT, she did a wonderful job.

I finished Minute Spot but unfortunately it's still not big enough for the clock that I received at the retreat. I will just have it framed and find something else for the clock.

I will post a picture as soon as I get a good one. I took a couple but they are all to blurry.

I started Spring Needlekeep Kit by La-D-Da on Sunday afternoon. I will also post pictures of that soon.

Here is a closer picture of Minute Spot. The fabric is called Chime by Picture This Plus and the floss is NPI.

Now on to some other projects. I started this one last night. I had gotten a clock like that at the retreat, but now I am thinking that even though the one I got is from Old Colonial also the opening is going to be to big so I might just have to do something else for that clock. This project has a lot of specialty stitches, some of which I haven't done but I am already enjoying it.

FINALLY finished Dutch Beauty. I started this on Dec. 2, 2007 finished on April 22, 2008 and I have done a few others during this time but it still seemed to take a long time to me. It was a HUGE piece. I enjoyed stitching it but I am more than ready to move on to some other projects, I have sooooo many I want to do.

Here is a group picture, although not a real good one because when I scanned it some of the color is off, I think because of the shiny finish on the original picture. This is one they gave us at the retreat.

The lady out front is because she didn't want to stop stitching long enough to get in the picture with the group so Holly, the organizer of the retreat, just grapped her chair and dragged her over there. LOL
Just got back last Sunday from a retreat in Branson, MO sponsored by Cecelia's Sampler. We had a great time and plan to go back to the one in November. It was the best retreat I have ever been to and OMG at the wonderful things and projects they gave us.

Finally almost finished with Dutch Beauty. I lack just a little in the lower right corner and finishing the border. I will be so glad to have it finished so that I can go on to other projects.

It's finally time. I am headed to Branson, Missouri along with 6 other women tomorrow for the retreat put on by Cecelia's Sampler. I have never been to one of their's. I know we are going to have a great time. 3 nights and 4 days, I am EXCITED.

We will have to deal with storms since we are driving up there but it will still be worth it.

This is Sarah, my youngest daughter, and her fiancee, Lance, at a recent military ball that was held in Feb. 2008. He isn't short, she is just tall. He is 6 foot. LOL
